In some cases, you may experience injection site reactions, rash or any other allergy, changes in the breast, darkening of facial skin, scalp hair loss, coarsening of hair in abnormal regions, nausea, fever, and sleep disturbances. Most of these side effects of FSPROGEST Aqua 25/50mg Injection 1ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Let your doctor know before prescribing FSPROGEST Aqua 25/50mg Injection 1ml if you are allergic to any content of this medicine. You should disclose to your doctor if you have a blood clot caused by swollen veins (thrombophlebitis), a blocked blood vessel (thromboembolic disorder), a stroke, a diagnosed or suspected vaginal infection, the use of any other vaginal application products, or any ongoing medical conditions such as cancer of the breasts or genital organs. Let your doctor also know if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before receiving this medicine.

Maintenance of early pregnancy, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, threatened abortion and amenorrhoea.

FSPROGEST Aqua 25/50mg Injection 1ml belongs to the class of medicines known as hormones. It is used to maintain early pregnancy in cases of documented history of repeated miscarriages due to luteal phase defect and in selected cases as an adjunct to successful infertility treatment with techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) or gamete intra-fallopian transfer (GIFT) to facilitate uterine implantation of the fertilised ovum. In cases of secondary amenorrhoea (paused or missed periods), it can also be used as a progesterone withdrawal test to assess oestrogen priming. Furthermore, it can treat threatening abortions and dysfunctional uterine haemorrhages.
